Common Mistakes and Best Practices in Flipped Instruction - P9

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

By now, everybody knows about flipping the classroom. As a part of my IGP for my MS from Purdue, I researched flipping strategies and I am willing to share some of my findings for a poster presentation. My findings come from a combination of my own classroom research, from an extensive literature review, and my IGP. Along the way I learned that I was making some of the common mistakes, and when I changed my practice, I saw significantly improved results.

Aaron Edwards

Aaron Edwards' career in engineering took him from his comfortable desk job in Fort Wayne all the way to Central Asia to work for seven years with a relief and development organization.  Last year, through the Woodrow Wilson Teaching Fellowship, Aaron transitioned into teaching high school math.  Since coming to East Noble High School, Aaron has been a proponent of flipping the classroom, student feedback, and ESL.
