This past year I have been finding more and more educational YouTube channels to supplement my curriculum. Although I teach English, I have utilized channels like SciShow and AsapSCIENCE when discussing survival in the face of dehydration with Life of Pi. When discussing civil rights, we'll watch CrashCourse US History. For a general big idea discussion on current events, I go to PBS Idea Channel. In my session I will share these channels, as well as ways to incorporate them into lessons across subject lines through TEDEd and Canvas.
