This workshop will introduce participants to 21st Century Learning Intervention solutions using technology and tools to help close the achievement gap and prepare students for college and careers.  Digital solutions such as Inspire Literacy (iLit), a tablet-based reading intervention for grades 4 - 10 and SuccessMaker an online K-8 math and ready program that identifies gaps and adapts instruction to meet individaual student needs will be presented.  Both digital solutions address important skills and strategies to fill reading deficiencies.  This workshop will engage praticpants in utilizing technology learning solutions that provide students with real-time feedback and a personalized learning path that leads to academic achievement.


Adrian Willis

Adrian Willis has worked in schools for the past 25 years. He is the Intervention/ELL Specialist for Pearson. He has a Bachelor of Arts Degree and Masters Degree in Educational Administration. He has been a principal in a turnaround school and worked with struggling readers as the Chief of the Englewood-Gresham Network in the Chicago Public Schools.
